Sunday Snippet Mar 10 2024

Welcome to this week's news and views from around the resort.

Don't forget some of you will have to reset the clock on your water heater because of the power outtage we had on Friday morning. If you need help ask your next door neighbour. Failing that you can ring Mick on 0493 081 512 (but I won't be back until Wednesday morning).

Carla Harris from Right At Home will be here in the Clubhouse on Wednesday 13 March at 10:00am. Right at Home is a commercial in-home care provider, offering a comprehensive range of services which includes: Hospital in the Home, transport and support post-surgery to appointments, social support, healthcare assessments, chronic conditions and palliative care. No appointment is necessary, just pop along and have a chat with Carla and see what services are available. You never know - you might just need something that Carla can offer.

Another good turnout on Wednesday for Trivia. Eighteen teams took part.

Congratulations to the Music Special Songs winners Eight Pins, who came from behind to pip the Drifters at the post. The Handicap section was won by Motley Crew who only had a team of three.

Come along on a Wednesday night - only $1 to take part in the best trivia on Bribie Island. Form your own team, or a couple of our regular teams are looking for new members. Enjoy the trivia, a wonderful raffle and of course a chance to win $1,000 on Find The Gem.
