**Remember - If your coaster is damp, please don't throw it away, but rather than putting it in the basket, leave it on the bar to allow it to dry out.

Line Dancing for Beginners is starting on Tuesday 27 February at 10:00am, and a further class will be held on Friday 1 March at 10:00am. After that the Beginners classes will be held each Tuesday and Friday at the slightly later time of 10:30am.

Come along and join dozens of residents who are already enjoying Line Dancing each week.  Meet in the Clubhouse and please wear your name tag, wear comfy shoes and bring some water.

On Tuesday 27 February and Friday 1 March the Intermediates class will take place at 8:45.

No classes for Improvers this coming week.

The sad news is that Bingo scheduled for Monday 26 Feb is cancelled.

But the good news is that there will be an extra Bingo session on Monday 4 March.

So there will be three Bingo sessions in March - 4th, 18th and 25th

Save the date

There are only a few tickets left for the Claptomaniacs who will be performing LIVE on Saturday 16th March. Please contact Vikki at villa 222, Phone 0407 103381 if you need tickets.

This Wednesday, 21st Feb, was a big milestone for Trivia. It was our 100th Music Trivia !!!! Trivia began here at our wonderful resort way back in September 2019.

Congratulations to the winners Hot Shots, and to Cavaliers for winning the Handicap section.

And a really BIG BIG win for Sandra who won $1,000 on Find The Gem. Drinks are on Sandra this coming Wednesday.

So even if you don't win at trivia, there is always the chance to win $1,000 on Find The Gem.

Come along on a Wednesday night - only $1 to take part in the best trivia on Bribie Island. Form your own team, or we will find a team for you.

This week's Trivia is General Knowledge

A message from our Secretary :

Nominations for the 2024 HOC

For those residents who were at the club house on Friday night, you will have heard from the

HOC president Peter Beatty.

His message for those who missed it was :

All but one member of the current HOC will not be running in 2024

This is due to a number of personal reasons.

This is of course disappointing news, as the 2023 HOC, I am sure you will agree, have done a wonderful job.

Unfortunately, to date I have received NO nominations for the 2024 HOC.

Unless we receive nominations from the community to step up and get involved in the HOC, on 20th March, if no new HOC is elected, the association will be unable to exist.

This means :

  • Dux & Drakes bar must close as the liquor licence is held by the association.

  • The bank account will be frozen, meaning the bills won't be paid

  • Our Insurances will be frozen

to name but a few issues, which arise from no management team

We are looking for residents who can spare a few hours a week, to help run our wonderful community, people who are prepared to work together, share ideas, and keep our community running smoothly.

For further details or info on the different portfolios please email

Want to be involved in our community operates ?
